To make it easy to Tweet your status to your followers there is a Twitter window in TubeMaestro. Using this window you can simply type your message and press the enter key on your keyboard to send it. Simple.

In order to use this feature you do need to set up your Twitter credentials within TubeMaestro using the Twitter Profiles window. This can be found by clicking the button on the top left hand corner of the Twitter window,

Tweet now!

or by clicking the button entitled “Twitter settings” found on the Preferences window.

There are two ways of telling the Twitter systems that you are using TubeMaestro to send Tweets; the first is “Simple authentication” and the second is “Secure authentication”.

The first is called Simple as it involves simply entering your Twitter credentials into the Twitter Profiles window and you’re ready to Tweet. However there is a drawback to this method and that drawback is that your Twitter credentials are always passed to the Twitter systems across the Internet with every Tweet you make unencrypted.

A good question! The reason is that there might have been a problem earlier in the day and whilst the problem?might have?gone away the actual Tube trains might not be back to the normal running frequency. So, by checking the Departure Boards you are able to see when the trains are actually coming.

This is a question I have seen bouncing around the Internet very frequently. Some people are hypothesizing that you need to have an Oyster card or a TFL Travelcard and that a National Rail Travelcard does not qualify for Tube refunds. Actually, all three ticket types count – you can claim refunds for any of them.

I use a National Rail Travelcard and I have claimed many refunds using TubeMaestro. When setting up your profiles in the Click4Refund settings window, you will note that all three types are available. Simply choose your ticket type and the appropriate boxes and options are displayed or hidden so that you can correctly complete the information Transport For London need to process a refund.
